WHAT IS ALL STAR TEAM ROPING?
All Star Team Roping is a new and exciting format that is designed by team ropers to put the contestants FIRST and the producers SECOND. We have taken the finest points of other associations and combined them to create what we believe to be an ALL STAR lineup. We are committed to being an honest and upfront association producing the best Team Ropings we can. We will have Invitational Qualifier events followed by a year end Finals. At the Finals there will be a Preliminary as well as an Invitational Roping. Our goal is to give ropers the opportunity to rope against fewer teams and win more money.
WHAT IS THE INVITATIONAL?
The goal of the Invitational is to produce a high paying roping with a small amount of teams to compete against. There will be approximately 30-100 teams in each Division Invitational while having added money from the producers. At each qualifying event, 5% of the producer's commission will be allocated toward that division's Invitational. For example: 100 Teams at 8 qualifiers totals $12000 added to that division.
Each division will have an Invitational. The Invitational will be 4 head aggregate progressive after 2, with the exception of the #8 which will be a 4 head aggregate progressive after 1. These will be ran at the Finals directly after the Preliminary Roping. The added money for the Invitational is all from the Producers not the Ropers!
HOW TO GET AN INVITATION?
After the roping concludes and the winners are paid, the TOP 3 Teams in the Average will receive an Invitation for that particular division. Ropers will have to accept the invitation or it will advance to the next team in the average. Members will be allowed to enter each Invitational division 2 times as long as its not with the same partner.
HOW LONG DO I HAVE TO ACCEPT THE INVITATION?
The Invitation must be accepted on the day of the event, if you decline the invitation you will forfeit your invitation and we will contact the next team down in the average and give them an invitation.
